Philosophy

Physical education is important to you and your health.  A healthy body contributes to a healthy, active mind.  They can not be separated.  Research shows that most people who exercise regularly are sick less and sleep better than those who do not exercise.  One's self-concept is also improved.  This program is designed to be a progressive one of sportsmanship, cooperation and teamwork are also important.  Physical fitness will be stressed to a high degree and your interest, enthusiasm, and participation will be a key to your success in the physical education program at Lake Oswego High School.
