The goal of this class is to
further develop your skills in the area of transitioning to the next stage of
your life…college. In this class we
will explore the fundamentals of college applications, college essays,
disclosure, SAT/ACT preparation and self-advocacy. Furthermore, Ms. Teach and I will help you get ahead with the
professional skills necessary to enter the workforce. You will be provided
with direct, specially designed instruction that reflects your Transition goal
and objectives. Additionally, we will
visit college campuses and have guest speakers supplementing our curriculum. You
will have time to work on your class assignments for a portion of each LSC
period.

How will you be graded in the English Lab?
You
will have a Transition binder for this class that will assist you in organizing
and safekeeping your transition materials. You will be graded based on the
