UC Santa Barbara: M.Ed. and Single Subject Credential in English

I am twice a graduate of UCSB.  I earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Professional Writing and Editing.  Following my four years of undergraduate work, I went on to complete a Master’s degree in Education and receive my teaching credential in English.  Then, I taught English for three years at Santa Barbara High School (the 2nd oldest high school in California) where I was also the ASB Advisor and Director of the Academy of Public Policy and Leadership.  I currently teach Freshman English, Freshman Honors English, and Junior English.  I am happily married to my wife Jenn, who is a junior high English teacher.  We love to go camping, hiking, play disc golf, and work in our garden.  I am excited about a great year here at LOHS.  Go Lakers!
