Assignments and Assessments

◊ Grades are posted online. Follow the link through my website.

◊ Success in math is related to effort put into homework assignments. Therefore, you will be assigned in-class work and homework everyday. Homework is due when I collect it. In order to receive full credit, you must show all of your work. NO late work will be accepted.

Attendance and Make-Up Work

◊ If you are absent on a test review day or the period before a quiz, you are still responsible for taking the test or quiz on the regular day. My website will give you the most accurate information.

◊ Due to the nature of the 90 minute periods, if you are absent, you are expected to use the assignment sheet to prepare for the next class. You are also expected to check with me during student/teacher contact time (before school) or during break on the day you return to school to get missed handouts. Unless arrangements are made, make up work is due one class period after you return.

◊ If you are absent on the day of a test, you are required to talk to me to schedule a retake time. Not showing up at the scheduled time will result in a grade deduction. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Extra Help

I am happy to help, so please feel free to come in before or after school on most days and during break. Also, I encourage you to work together with your peers (however, direct copying will be treated as cheating). I want to help make this your best year of learning mathematics!
